Alien Up is a sci-fi 2D anime style pixel shooter game staring a unique and colorful cast of characters. We will go over a couple of assist characters in this post. These characters are part of the CMC and are Chelsea's, the main character, coworkers. Let's go over Juliette Jackson and Brody Brando!
Juliette Jackson is a young tinkerer within the CMC. She grew up with an interest in how machinery worked. She is very knowledgeable in laser tech and tends to turn regular machines into laser weapons. Like the robot vacuum she uses as the assist attack in the game. She installed a powerful laser in a vacuum just for the heck of it. Nice to see it coming to good use. She jokes a lot. Juliette has a dry sense of humor so it's hard to tell if she is joking or not.
Brody Brando is a professional type. He is part of the CMC and takes his job seriously. A no nonsense kind of guy that is the first to arrive and last to leave. Even though he is a serious guy, he finds time to have "bro talk" in the breakroom. He specializes in the hard light department of the CMC fixing barriers, light swords and holograms. Brody will also change lightbulbs when needed. His assist skill is very useful in the game when you can't dodge the projectiles in time but the barrier he provides is only good for blocking bullets. He wears a bandana over his face because he is allergic to dust... and he likes ninja stuff.
There you have it! Now you know Brody and Juliette a little more. Be sure to use them in Alien Up! And the only way you can fully appreciate them is to help us get this game made! Alien Up is an indie game that will have an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in early March 2024.
