Alien Up is a sci-fi anime style 2D shooter game for the PC. Let's continue getting to know more about the main cast. We will go over a couple more characters that are also assist for Chelsea. This post will be about Kareem Kimpnick and Samantha North!
Kareem is part of the CMC, The Cosmic Mechanical Corporation, as a mechanic specializing in gears and engines. He is a father of two and loves his job. He has a jovial personality that is contagious among the workspace. He's good at training new members of the CMC. Kareem is really into guns and will give Chelsea some pointers during the invasion. He messes around with guns as a hobby. Kareem's assist attack is him flying in on a zipline shooting downwards. This attack is great for countering very low aliens that Chelsea can't hit. Use Kareem when you can't jump over the enemy!
Samantha, or Sam, is also part of the CMC. She specializes in welding and general metal work. She's 30 and a mother of 2. Sam is very quiet. The kind of quiet where she doesn't speak unless she really has to. But there is one thing that she can't shut up about when asked. That's anything on the topic of health and fitness. She is well respected among her coworkers. They ask her about health stuff all the time. Sam's assist attack will require a couple of steps. First, she will throw a gas tank out. Then second, the player will have to shoot it to activate the attack. A cool way to cause some major damage. Her attack is very powerful but it may be hard to pull off if there is an alien in the way between the bullet and the gas can. Call on Sam when there are too many aliens on the screen!
Alien Up is an indie game that will have an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in early March 2024.
